Has it been a year already?
Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out has been and past again (check out last year’s event here.). The event, which was celebrating its 10th birthday, was a night of organised chaos filled with bubbles, snacks, activations and that cathartic sound of your credit card tapping away.
It seems as though VAEFNO was vibin’ on a similar wavelength to what I’ve been on for this entire year with their New York City Block Party themed celebration. Incredibly fitting as New York Fashion Week was happening collectively with this event. If there is ever a theme to an event as significant as VAEFNO – your girl will always deliver the goods. It was time to bring out my orange camouflage trousers and chunky white sneakers because what screams more New York than looking like one of J-Lo’s back up dancers?
As always, the American Express Lounge, which was open to all Card Members, had the bubbles flowing and bagels up for grabs. As an American Express Platinum Card Member, I received priority access to the Lounge and could bring up to two guests as an added bonus. I also stopped by the exclusive David Jones American Express Lounge, where Lancome had set up a touch-up station for those who needed a little bronzing after all the excitement. Your girl managed to visit both Lounges before she prised herself away from the bubbles to indulge in a little shopping.
American Express gave Card Members a special offer, where you could spend $50 and get $20 back up to three times when you paid with your Card at one of 600 participating retailers. And best of all, some of my favourite brands, including ZARA, David Jones and others, were participating so I shopped until I dropped.
VAEFNO is without a doubt Australian fashion’s night of nights. It has everything you can dream of for the ultimate shopping experience – champagne, DJs, snacks, glamorous guests and amazing shopping offers. American Express offers so many amazing rewards and experiences for Card Members not only at VAEFNO but throughout the year.
