Glam Glow Youth Mud Review

Something that I have always been complimented on is my skin and I have been incredibly blessed that both my parents have fantastic skin. I’ll confess that up until six months ago, I didn’t really pay much attention to my skin. I’ve recently started experimenting with an army of beauty products, as I don’t believe in sticking to one particular brand to cater to all your needs. You wouldn’t return to the same Italian restaurant everyday for your meals and you shouldn’t limit yourself to just one brand of skincare.

Over the next few weeks I’ll review certain products that have become a staple in my daily routine. I’ll start with my mask of choice that I use routinely once a week to clear out my skin is GlamGlow Youthmud TingleExfoliate Treatment. Although I do need to warn those with sensitive skin that this may not be the product for you as the active ingredients are quite intense. Even though my skin isn’t classified as sensitive, the tingling sensation I first felt when I slathered my face in the product was definitely something new. However, I have been using it for the last four months and haven’t felt the tingling since the first time and love the way my skin appears brighter and incredibly smooth afterwards.

I apply this using the brush received with the Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer. The brush is useless when it comes to applying foundation but works as an excellent brush to apply masks. You’ll thank me for it later when you’re not spending 10 minutes trying to wash the granules from under your nails.

Using this before jumping in the shower is the best because you don’t end up with random black volcanic rock granules in your hair. The exfoliation you get on your skin whilst rinsing it all off is also a bonus. Be gentle in your massaging because the granules are quite harsh and you want to leave yourself with some skin afterwards (ok so that’s an over-exaggeration but you get what I’m saying).

This was one of the first products I used and I have since gone on to buy the other three products in their range and alternate between them every second day. I’ll do a comparison of each later. I tried my best with the photography to show my skin after the treatment but us mere mortals who aren’t gifted in professional photography skills can only do so much. Ask for a sample if the store allows for this and try it out before you shell out $70.

Anyone else tried any of the Glam Glow products?
