The highly anticipated diffusion line – Balmain x H&M – is only one week out from hitting shop floors globally. Lucky for us in Australia – we will technically be getting our mitts on these beautiful pieces ahead of our European and American counterparts (sorry ladies and gents). November 5th will be the date that is marked in every girl’s diary, reminders set in iPhones and post-it notes stuck around work spaces and refrigerators.
Known for their feminine silhouettes and dazzling embellishments – Parisian couture house Balmain’s diffusion collection for H&M is certainly one to be praised. Having had the opportunity to preview the collection in their showroom, I can safely say that each piece is as unique as the next. Think Balmain’s renowned silk draped fabrics, accentuated shoulders and extravagant embellishments – does this make you drool or what?
After doing my best to capture the detail of the key pieces of the collection, a crowd favourite is the beaded jacket. My personal favourite would be the leather jacket; if you’ve seen on my Instagram feed (@helenchikx) the piece is a wardrobe staple.
