Happy New Year everyone! It’s that time of the year where everyone begins to set their goals and amongst those resolutions are ones that are achievable and those that are just downright wishful thinking. Regardless of what those resolutions are, I think it’s important to take time and reflect first on all that has happened in the previous year before new benchmarks are set.
To say 2014 has been an eventful year for me would be a serious understatement. In a nutshell these were the highlights for me:
Learning how to swim. That’s right you heard me! I can now proudly state that I use to be one of those silly girls who needed rescuing on Bondi Rescue. But hey I may still need resuscitating every now and again. Anything for a bronze, sandy-blonde haired lifeguard with washboard abs that you can grate cheese off right?
Travelling with my fiancé (now husband) to Thailand and experiencing by far the worst flight with Air Asia in all my travels. Snorkeling, playing with tiger cubs and riding elephants were a few ‘firsts’ on that trip for both.
Travelling to Dubai, Paris, Hamburg and Amsterdam during the month of September and spending a precious week with my beautiful girls in Paris. I know what you’re thinking, four girls having a ‘hen’s week’ in Paris. Don’t worry we were totally well behaved; for the most part at least.
Marrying my man in Hamburg, Germany in the most stunning and intricate Vera Wang gown (more details to come in a post later) that I have ever seen. Surrounded by our closest friends and family, we held an intimate outdoor wedding hosted by Hotel Sullberg.
I’m sure I’m not doing 2014 any justice with those few highlights and amongst those should include the relaunch of my website. I am extremely excited to start my 2015 with the release of my new website which is still a continuous work in progress and would love to hear all your thoughts! My resolutions will be in the posts to come along with an exciting giveaway so stay tuned!
