Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day brings about the three F’s (well four if you want to be pedantic) – Fashion, Fun and Famous Faces – and let me tell you, I had my dose of all three last Saturday. I’m thoroughly enjoying walking around events these days and just spotting gorgeously dressed ladies and gents. An epic fan-girl moment happened for me when I met Ronan Keating – gosh I miss the days of Boyzone (that’s right, I’m a boy band addict but none of this One Direction business).
As for my outfit – still holding strong to my mission of not wearing a dress to the races. I chose this time to pair a mint green suit from the SS15’ Friend of Audrey collection (now in stock) with the beautifully constructed Perspex crown by talented milliner Suzy O’Rourke. The main point of difference that I loved about the suit was the open slits on either side of the trousers giving a feminine yet seductive touch to such a structured look. The crown just made me feel like a corporate wonder woman and my hair stylist (Dawn from Toni&Guy Sydney Central) had the brilliant idea of bringing back the trend of crimps.
If any ladies need any assistance in styling or just want an opinion on how to rock a Spring Carnival look then shoot me a quick email and I will be more then happy to give my two cents!
So what’s on this weekend? City Tattersalls Cup Day will be on at Royal Randwick this Saturday the 17th October where DJ Havana Brown will be performing after the last race! I am absolutely devastated that I won’t be there but for those who are attending – have a dance for me. The Bucket List Marquee was also another highlight of both weekends for me and will continue to be available at the events. If you would like more information – visit here.
