Estee Lauder’s ANR Eye Concentrate Matrix

Spending my days in front of every electronic screen you can name; iPhones, laptops, tablets, TVs can truly take its toll. Come 9pm I find myself struggling to keep my eyes open and until recently, I had no idea of the effort our eyes truly go through in an average day. Imagine walking eight kilometers every single day – that’s the equivalent of what our eyes do in micro-movements in a day. If only blinking burnt calories too. Estee Lauder Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix

We notice our bodies change as we go through the various stages of life; it becomes harder to lose weight, your body begins to succumb to gravity and the most notable signs of aging always start around your eyes. Whilst Asians tend to age quite gracefully we are however, susceptible to dark circles and puffiness. Enter Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix to solve your aging woes. It comes with an applicator, which means no more dunking your ring finger into tiny pots and getting more product stuck under your fingernails than on your fingers. Use it day and night (even though the name suggests it’s a night product) under your eyes and on your eyelids.

What does it do?

  • Repairs by reducing fine lines, wrinkles, under eye puffiness and uneven skin tone
  • Fortifies by increasing the density of the skin surrounding your eyes and cushioning support against the effects of micro-movements
  • Hydrates by leaving the eye area plumped with moisture for 24 hours as well as prompting it to naturally build moisture from within

I recently stopped using make-up around my eyes – not for any legitimate reason other than pure laziness and realized that people noticed my tiredness so much more. In my state of panic, I started using the Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix in an effort to make myself look less fatigued. The biggest bonus for me is the texture of the product and how it feels on. Most of the products I’ve previously tried have felt too heavy but this couldn’t be further from that.

What are your recommendations for treating the aging process around your eyes?

This post has been created in collaboration with Estee Lauder however; all opinions will always remain my own.

I do envy Asian skin although you are prone to some of the stuff we others have to endure too, haha. I have used a lot of Estee Lauder’s products, but haven’t used this one in particular and to be quite honest, it isn’t until lately and thanks to my skin therapist that I’ve began taking care of the skin around my eyes at all. Lately I have been using a great night product and also some eye masks, but now I’m very keen to try the ANR Eye Concentrate Matrix from EL! Thank you for the tip and review!

OMG I’ve using Estee Lauder’s ANR eye concentrates for like years! It’s great for girls in the 20s and give it a slightly boost for the skins around our eyes, but not too much a strong lift. I love their other eye cream prodcuts too. They are great for jetsetters like us who spend so much time traveling in the jets and constantly dealing with jetlags. Thanks for a great piece and sharing your skincare secretes!

    xx, Jessie

Oh my god this sounds exactly like what I want and need! I’ve been looking for something to wear for my eyes and I know I need it badly. Thanks for sharing this product! I’m planning on getting this on my next pay check. So I’ll be circling back to this post when I do!

  • Aww I’ve heard wonders about Estee Lauder’s products especially their night repair serum! It’s so important to care for our eyes especially when we are always facing the computer screen etc all day long! I’m currently using my Frankincense Essential Oil to prevent ageing & improve my vision – it’s working well on me too not to mention that it’s a natural non-toxic alternative for skincare 🙂 Thanks for sharing Helen <3

I have seen other bloggers advertised it so well and I bought one for myself. I didn’t try it yet, but definitely will. It sounds like a great product to stay younger and healthier. Sadly, it is true that with the age, it is so hard to lose weight. I have gained 2 kg from my recent vacation and have a quite hard time to lose it. Do you have any secret how to stay fit while traveling? Since you share your beauty secret. ;’)

  • Yes, that is the most upsetting fact ever – gravity. Even if you’re doing sports and eating all greens, it doesn’t actually matter. The first thing you see – the eyes and the area around them… For years, Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair has been my life-saver, I love and adore this product, coz it’s the best of the best. You wrote such a wonderful review though, I really hope it will help those who’s facing this problem too.

  • I have always been a huge fan of the Advanced Night Repair Face Serum but had no idea the same (well, same line I mean :P) product was available as well! I completely agree- while us Asian do age quite gracefully, the dark circles can be awful. I’ve been noticing mine so much more as of late as well. But after reading your review of this eye concentrate, I’ll definitely pick one up now. The massage applicator looks so cool as well, a much more hygenic approach to skincare application. Thanks for sharing such a great review of this eyecare product!!

  • This sounds like something I would add to my collection of beauty products =o) Thank you for sharing!

I’ve always loved Estée Lauder products for years now! You are so right about how much the texture around the eyes starts to feel different when you use a product like the Advanced Repair that helps reduce the look of fatigue. I need to get back to trying an eye product to lessen my own tired looking eyes! Thanks! xo, Jessica
